Why 'Hippie" theme?

Having grown up in the 70's and 80's I felt a connection to the post-hippie vibes that were instilled in music, culture, and people. I grew up having a sense of 'freedom and diversity'. The bell-bottoms and flair buttons were still influencing culture even into the 80's. Even to this day I catch myself having memory flash-backs every-time I hear Ambrosia, Steve Nicks, or Zeppelin. So the theme of Hippie Hot Dog links me to fond memories of my childhood. - Bo McCoy

Our food

We use only the best all-beef hot dogs and ingredients in our store. Imagine being able to choose from nearly 20 different topping for your hot dog (at no extra charge) crazy! The best part is we also include a drink and chips. The perfect retro-lunch at a great price that anyone enjoy.

Locally owned and operated

Bo and Jill along with their partners are pleased to bring Hippie Hot Dog to Chillicothe. Jill is a native of Chillicothe while Bo has been a resident since 2005. We invite all our friends and family to join us in enjoying the vibes at Hippie Hot Dog! Once you visit us one time; we know you will want to come back soon. We don't make customers we make new family members!
